Very interesting and diverse city. A lot of sights to see. The architecture is different than what you usually find in the Randstad area. The city center, Bonnefantenmuseum and the Caves in the southern part of the city should not be missed.

I really like Maastricht. It’s just big enough and it’s not so crowded as Amsterdam. Also feels more safe.

Lots of buses stop outside of the station building, some of them heading to Belgium too as well as bus to the surrounding area. Station is nice enough with step free access to the other platforms via a lift and a rather narrow footbridge. There is a Smullers there too which has some nice food to take away.

Nice railway station. Good connection to Belgium and Amsterdam. Regular Intercity, NS services available. Big Piano is there to play kept, any body can play and enjoy music at station. There are stores Hema, Albert, etc also at station for buying of eatables, cloths and other items. Eating points Dadavan in front of station is place lunch and dinner. Facilities like Lockers, bike stand are there.

Very beautiful station! The representative in the ReiseZentrum was so friendly, he gave us three free return ticket! He was really a great person!
